The Farmstyle is a rugged, all-plastic composting toilet with the urine separator built right into the unit - no separate parts to fit, no water, no plumbing. Solids drop into the tank below to compost with worms, while urine diverts away. Perfect for remote sites, baches and back-country living.
How the Farmstyle Works
The built-in urine diverter keeps liquid out of the composting tank. Solids drop straight down into one of the rotating composting bins, seeded with worms and bark, where they break down into humus. Rotate the bins every 3-4 months and remove finished compost every year or two.
Only organic matter goes in - no water, no bleach or cleaning fluids, no sanitary products or non-biodegradables (they harm the worms).

The Ultimate Bio Chamber

Extra strong for outdoor use where you have the system under the open sky. Rainproof and protective hood against strong UV light from the sun for longer Life (hood for the separator). Suitable for a medium household with 5 persons, permanent living.
- The bio chamber (4 compartments, about 100 liters each) is rotated every 225 visit or 2-3 months.
- A full rotation takes approx 1 year, then the the post-composted chamber is ready to be used again, or emptied (some nutritious odorless soil at the bottom).
Made in Rotorua, New Zealand, the Ultimate Bio Chamber uses bacteria and, if you choose, compost worms to break solids down - cutting their volume by up to 95%.
